Stoffies 4 Paws service have proven history of caring for animals. We provide reference and police checks. Please contact us as we are more than happy to provide references to your local carer. We pride ourselves on professionalism, caring and responsible as a staff member. We treat your pets like our own & they will be loved and in good hands
This is where you assigned a petsitter to come over to your house to have a friendly meet up prior to the service commencing. It will help you put a face to our name. We go over your animal’s needs, wants, requirement & daily routine and implement them on a daily basis. This gives us a chance for both parties to ask questions. We also like to have a look around the house to know the layout and insight of where you would like your petsitter to sleep, where the animal’s foods are kept and belongings.
Yes you can or if you feel comfortable that you would like to hand over the keys a few days before you leave for your holiday. You can make your own choice whether you would like to leave your keys in a safe spot where I can find the keys.
You give us information of your VET clinic and who’s the doctor of your pets. We contact the owners first if any concerns to your pets before contacting the VET, sometimes you can make sure to give them a call regardless & let us know when to take your pets to the VET. We also advice you to let your VET know the period of time you will be away and that your petsitter will be looking after your pets.
If we don’t hear from you, we take your pets to the first available emergency clinic that is open 24/7.
Any services with cats need to have a cat carrier supplied and in an easy assessable spot.
Yes. The owner is fully responsible to pay for all medical bills, fines and other bills in relation to your pets.
You as the owner need to make sure your animals are in best health prior to our services. It is your responsibility as the owner to let us know if your pet has any medical or health problems prior to the service. You must also let us know if your animal is an escape artist or has escaped before. Prior to our services and must have a secured fence, doors, latches and gates.
Yes. We are more than happy to give your animals medications. You are welcome to show me how to use the medication on the day of “meet & greet” and leave a note on the kitchen bench for us to follow through once we start the service.
Yes, every details you need your petsitter to know and what to be aware of when it comes to your animals during the petsitter’s stay
Yes. We can still look after your dog or cat whether or not they are up to date with vaccinations, worming tablet or mirco chipped. However we are not able to perform any walking service if one of the above is not up to date. If you want your animals to go for walks while you’re away, I’d advise you to please up date your pets with vaccinations & worming.
Wherever you feel comfortable where you want your pet sitter to sleep. You don’t have to provide any beddings unless you don’t feel comfortable doing so. Yes your pet can sleep in the bed with a pet sitter as long as they’re allowed on any sort of furniture.
Yes, just make sure you fully stocked up your animal’s daily items. Such as animals foods, medications, treats, coats, clothing, dog poo bags, leash for walking, kitty litter liners and toys. We do not expect you to stock up daily house hold items such as toilet paper, dishwashing liquids, soaps, garbage bags and paper towels. We can provide our own unless you’re comfortable with your pet sitter using your items.
Yes we look after all types of animals and breeds. Large & small, ranging from dogs, cats, birds & fish. However we don’t look after reptiles, livestock and any other exotic animals & breeds. Indoor & outdoor animals with different needs & requirement
No we don’t do JUST weekend, we do long period of stays depending on how long you want to go away for whether it 1 night, 2 nights, 3 nights, the list goes on.
55% deposit is required to be paid prior to the service. It issued to secure the requested dates. We do not hold any spots for service periods or services. To ensure you get your requested dates this can only be secured with a deposit.
Yes we do offer any kind of emergencies. If you’re unable to care for your pets at the very last minute, one of your petsitter will make sure to be there. Be aware there will be costs for a last minute travelling journey depending where they will be coming from. And we do offer 24/7 on call
Absolutely. You can make your bookings up to one year in advance. Public holidays tend to get booked in advance so it better to book sooner rather than later.
A visit service is where you assign a petsitter who visit your home and animals either once or twice a day. Some of the tasks we perform are
-feeding and topping up water/food
-cleaning of kitty litters and picking up dog poop
-interacting and giving your animals love and attention
-sending photos and updates to all pet owners
-medications when require
-bringing in mails
-bringing in and out of bins
-turning on lights, opening/closing blinds and doors
-checking security of home
You need to supply your animal’s food. You need to make sure that there is enough for the service period. You’re welcome to leave extra cash if you’re unsure that there will be enough food for your animals. You don’t need to supply any food for the petsitter, they will be more than happy to supply their own food. If you have any foods/perishables you would like your pet sitter to have, please let them know.
Absolutely!!!! We would be more than happy to sent you photos and videos of your beloved pets while you’re away. We pride ourselves on great communication. You will feel more relaxed and at ease.
No. There wont be any refund for any services cut short as we have allocated the time for that individual petsitter to look after your pets.
